2024 WSCW School Ball – a roaring success!

Our 2024 WSCW School Ball took place at the Ellerslie Events Centre this year on Saturday 8th June. This year’s theme was “Old Hollywood” and all of our students & staff looked stunning, and in true Springs-Waiōrea fashion, some students creatively interpreted the theme in the way they dressed.

We were downstairs in the Newmarket Room this year, which was a fantastic space for our school, and it made a huge difference to the feel and flow of the evening.

The key things to a great night include a great venue, great company, great food, great music & photo opportunities to create great memories – we checked all the boxes!

A special thanks must go to our 2024 Events Leaders – Jaime Watson, Raneel Vaidya, Quinn Dye, Hana Patuwai & Lulu Kahukiwa – who were supported by our new Deputy Principal in charge of the Ball (Anna Witten-Sage) and our Principal’s Executive Assistant (Asha Vaidya). We also thank all the staff and students who came to help us set on the morning of the Ball. You all helped to give our Springs-Waiōrea Y13s & Y12s a memorable experience that our students will cherish for their last years at high school.

Our WSCW School Balls have earned a long-standing reputation as awesome nights, and 2024 was no different!
