2026 WSCW Ball – tickets go on sale Tues 2nd June

The WSCW 2026 School Ball will be held on Saturday 25th July 2026 (i.e. end of Week 1, Term 3) at the Ellerslie Events Centre again, in their biggest ballroom on the ground floor (Newmarket Room). This year’s theme is A Night in the Roaring 20s.

This year, the only way to purchase tickets will be via the Kindo shop, and payment in full will be required at that time. The cost of each Ball ticket will be $160. It is possible to top up your Kindo wallet now, which may be particularly helpful if you wanted to pay off the ticket over the period of ticket sales.

As in previous years, there will be a pre-sale opportunity from Tuesday 2nd June to Sunday 7th June only for Year 13 students and their guests to purchase tickets. After that period, sales will open to Year 12 students (i.e. from Monday 8th June). As always, due to limited ticket numbers (~600 students), priority goes to Springs & Waiōrea students, followed by guests of Year 13 students, then guests of Year 12 students.

If WSCW students do not meet the 90% attendance requirement, you must discuss this with the Year 13 Academic Directors or your Head of House prior to purchasing your ticket.

Outside guests will also purchase tickets via Kindo through the community shop on the school website. The link to this will be sent when tickets sales commence.

If parents/whānau have not yet created a Kindo account, now would be an excellent time to do so, especially if your child wants to attend the 2026 School Ball.

Every year, we have generous parents who donate towards the cost of a ticket for students who would otherwise have difficulty covering the cost of attending. Donations towards this can be made via Kindo and students who need a partially or fully subsidised ticket should contact their Head of House or DP Anna Witten-Sage witten-sagea@wsc.school.nz
