To all our Springs-Waiōrea students/ākonga – come and learn how to practice yoga over 8-weeks in Term 3.
When: Tuesdays after school: 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
The first 8-week course is generously funded by WSCW and will be at no cost to participants. Our librarian Andrew Raba will be teaching the course. Over 8 weeks, students/ākonga will learn a simple home practice of movement combined with deep breathing.
The practice supports mental health, sleep, relaxation, anxiety, sports performance, and focus. It is non-religious and adapted to all cultures. All body types are welcome. You do not need to be flexible because the practice is all about the breath.
