New Families’ BBQ

Kia ora koutou, 

Our Western Springs College/ Nga Puna O Waiōrea  New Families’ BBQ  is on Wednesday 24th February from 5-7pm. You are warmly invited to this event. This is an annual event for any students new to Western Springs College/Nga Puna O Waiōrea (from any year level) and their families. It is a chance for you to meet form teachers, class teachers and other families.

The event will take place at the front of the three storey building – Ken Havill Centre for Learning. Parking is available in the TAPAC/Zoo Car Park at the front of the school. We will start off clustered in houses so that you can meet the form teachers.  Please look for the banner of the house that your child is a member of.

The Parent Action Group (PAG) will be providing sausages (meat and vegetarian) and some spectacular salads. We endeavour to run this as a Minimal/Zero Waste Event.  For sustainability purposes please bring your own plates and cutlery, and a water bottle.  Please look out for signs for recycling, food scraps and waste disposal after you have eaten.

Note that if we are at Alert Level 2 after the announcement on Sunday night this event will be cancelled for 2021.
