Full day strike – Thursday 23 October 2025

Kia ora koutou,

The PPTA and NZEI unions have confirmed strike action this week on Thursday 23 October 2025 (covers both teachers and support staff in schools).

This is a full day strike affecting all year levels, and there will be no classes for students in Y9-13.

Onsite supervision by a small number of non-union members will be available on Thursday.
