A plea from MOTAT

Parents’ cars waiting in MOTAT 2 driveway to collect students

MOTAT staff have asked us to request that parents waiting for their children do so in the MOTAT 2 carpark rather than parking in the entrance driveway nearest the school. MOTAT cite:

1. Safety – cars turning across the footpath/cycleway after entering from the Motions Road end.
2. Safety – cars turning right out of MOTAT 2 driveway impeding the entrance for cars coming into MOTAT 2.
3. Inconvenience – cars exiting the MOTAT 2 carpark mistakenly thinking the parked cars are an exit queue and therefore they are stopping behind them in the line.
