EPro8 team successes!

The following senior students competed in the heats for EPro8 electronic and robotic challenges competition :

• Izzy MacDonald, Austin Wheeler, Saahil Saxena, George Jones (these guys made it into the semi finales), with a podium finish.
• Findlay Sharp, Ellora Sidwell and Kit Williams, Eva Croucher (who came straight from It’s a Musical Rehearsals – committed).
• Ollie McGechie, Sachet Khare, Zachary Imrie and Owen Follington (who joined us as a ring-in) – all of whom had never worked together before but had a great time learning how to work with different people.

• Make a laser tag system. 
• Make a robotic shopping trolley that you can use with a blindfold. 
• Make a functional scoring foose ball table. 
• Make a barrier arm that opens when a car is in front of it, doesn’t close when a car is going through it, and closes when it is behind the car.

  Keira Bailie, Roma Doleman, Adele Dawson, Anya Gupta and Laki Pillai who was our learning cheerleader.
  It was a nail-biter.
