Gemini AI Tool

From Term 3 we will be using the Google AI tool Gemini for both teachers/kaiako and students/ākonga. We are introducing Gemini as it is now part of the Google Workspace and designed with teaching and learning in mind.  All the data that’s put into Gemini is automatically protected and does not go outside our organisation. This protects both the safety and the privacy of our students/ākonga. We are also able to access ongoing support & training for using Gemini.

Teachers/kaiako will direct students/ākonga to use AI as our approved tool except where the teacher/kaiako specifies another tool for specific tasks.
