Tēnā koutou katoa, As the last bell of the year rings on what has been…

We were lucky to have Professor Ian E. Smith visit and lecture our Year 10 tauira for our Ruaumoko unit this year. He brought his rocks and a wealth of knowledge to us from his decades of research in the field. We thank Ian for his time and years of dedication to his work so we can know how the Earth works.
Rūaumoko (also known as Rūamoko) is the god of earthquakes, volcanoes and seasons.
