London awaits Nina Somerville!

Congratulations to Nina Somerville, who as a member of the Young Shakespeare Company of New Zealand will be performing at the Globe Theatre in London next year!

Nina was selected as a direct entry into the National Schools Shakespeare Production after her performance as Lady Macbeth in the West Auckland Regional Shakespeare Festival along with 23 performers from the other regions and another 24 selected from the National Shakespeare Festival in Wellington. Considering that thousands of students participate in the festivals each year this is a major achievement.

Nina has been a stand-out performer throughout her time at Western Springs College-Ngā Puna o Waiōrea and this is a richly deserved selection. We wish her all the very best for next year!
