NPoW heading to Spoken Word 2025 Finals!

He mihi nui ki te rōpū Spoken Word, arā ki a Taaniko Lyon-Elzen, Milan Moala, Deyton Heta, Kirimangu Cowley, Kirimaia Noel rātou ko Valerie Thompson.

The above-mentioned Ngā Puna o Waiōrea (NPoW) tauira for our Spoken Word team, Patua te Whakamā, have recently competed successfully in the regional heats for Word the Frontline (Semi Finals Heat #1), against 6 other schools from around Tāmaki Makaurau, at Q Theatre on Saturday 9th August. They were subsequently selected as one of three teams to compete in the Grand Slam on Saturday, 13th of September in the Aotea Centre!

They are a distinctive set of voices with a unique point of view & they welcome any and all support and would love to see you!
