A big CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to all those involved with our end-of-year Prize-Givings for 2022, which we held across Week 3 of this term:
Monday 31 October 2022 – Pasifika Prize-Giving
Tuesday 1 November 2022 – Sports Prize-Giving
Wednesday 2 November 2022 – Year 13 Leavers Event & Year 13 Prize-Giving
Thursday 3 November 2022 – Year 12 Prize-Giving
Friday 4 November 2022 – Year 11 Prize-Giving
Our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, attended our Year 13 Leavers Event and spoke to our departing students; she also personally presented the 2022 Prime Minister’s Vocational Scholarship Award to James Stock.
Later that evening our Top Academic Award – The Hicks Prize for Dux of Western Springs College – was presented to Petra Oh.
Also, The O’Keefe Scholarship for Year 13 Overall Merit & Runner-Up to Dux was presented to Audrey Zohrab.
We wish all our departing students all the very best for their life outside of Western Springs College-Ngā Puna o Waiōrea!
