A night to remember at the ‘Midnight in Kyoto’ Ball! The Ball will be held at the Ellerslie Racecourse this Saturday June 14th.

Doors open at 7pm and everyone must be inside by 8pm. The last song will be at 11.30pm and students/ākonga will not be released before then; everyone must be out by midnight.

Tickets will be issued at an Assembly on Friday 13 June at 12.45pm in Te Whakamanu.

  • Springs students who are not at the assembly will need to pick up their tickets from Ms Ryan or Ms Debreceny by 4pm from the WSC Admin corridor.
  • NPoW ākonga will receive their tickets after the assembly (which they must attend) from NPoW SLT at the Waiōrea reception.
  • Caregivers may pick up tickets if students/ākonga are absent on Friday, otherwise they will be issued to students on the day.

Parking instructions:

Buses & Large Limousine Drop-Off – Enter via Gate 2 and on to Gate 5 to drop off students/ākonga and exit via Gate 4.

All Other Vehicle Drop-Off (Cars, Small Vans, etc.) -Enter at 16 Derby Downs Place. Drive through the tunnel and continue along the internal road to reach the infield carpark. Students/ākonga will be dropped off at the designated school ball drop-off point and should walk via the pedestrian tunnel beneath the racetrack to reach the Event Centre. Please do not cross the racetrack. The walk to the Ellerslie Stand (the first white building you’ll see) is approximately 200 metres.

Pick up for Buses & Large Limousine – Gate 5

Pick up for other vehicles – infield carpark.
