Strike action update: Year level ‘rostering home’ this week

Kia ora koutou,

Last week we advised you of possible rolling strike action by PPTA union members next week.

The PPTA has now confirmed that ‘rostering home’ strike action will take place this week.

This means that union members will not teach specified year levels on the following days, and students in these years are asked to stay home on those days.  Classes go ahead as usual for the other year levels on those days.

Mon 15 September – Year 12 & Year 13

Tues 16 September – Year 11

Wed 17 September – Year 10

Thurs 18 September – Year 9.

Onsite supervision by a small number of non-union members will be available each day for the year levels listed above.
