Strike action – Weds 5 November 2025

Kia ora koutou,

The PPTA union has confirmed strike action this week for 2 hours on Wednesday 5 November, 1.15pm – 3.15pm.

Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 will finish school at 1pm on Wednesday.

Please be assured that student safety is our main concern, so onsite supervision by a small number of non-union members will be available on Wednesday.

Please contact the office/tari to indicate if your child/children will need this.

Please note – As school finishes at 1pm on Wednesday, the canteen will be closed all day. Students should ensure they bring their own food and drinks if required.

Also, all Homework Centres will be cancelled on Wednesday 5th November.
