Vacancy – ESOL Inclusive Learning Assistant (ILA)/Teacher Aide

We are seeking a permanent, part-time Inclusive Learning Assistant (ILA)/Teacher Aide for our ESOL Department at Western Springs College-Ngā Puna o Waiōrea. The position is term-time only and during school hours (9:00am to 3:10pm on Mondays to Fridays; total 27.5 hours per week).

Responsibilities include providing assistance to ESOL students and their subject teachers, and some administrative support to the ESOL Department.

TEFL/TESOL qualification, experience teaching ESOL students, additional language ability, and some subject knowledge in the Social Sciences, Science and/or Mathematics would be beneficial to your application. A willingness to facilitate inclusion and learning is imperative.

You must be eligible to work in Aotearoa New Zealand, and appointment is subject to a satisfactory Police vetting application & safety check.
