Welcoming you all back in 2026!

We welcome all our staff, teachers/kaiako, students/ākonga and their families/whānau back to the 2026 school year at Western Springs College-Ngā Puna o Waiōrea.

Thank you to all who attended our pōwhiri in week 1, our Pasifika & Māori in English medium (MEM) BBQ (Weds 11 February), and New Students & Whānau BBQ (Weds 18 February). Thank you to Lucia & Eddie from Grey Lynn Butchers for providing us with their delicious sausages!

A special thanks/ngā mihi nui to those who helped at these events – including our parents, wonderful staff, all of our fabulous 2026 student leaders, and our amazing Parent Action Group (PAG).

ATHLETICS DAY 2026

Athletics Day was a fantastic event this year – one of our best so far! Special thanks to Peter McIntyre & all of his Sports Department team and our Property Team for all the preparation, setup and packdown for this day, and all the behind-the-scenes tasks that need to done for such a big event. Thank you also to all of our staff who helped make the day run smoothly in the MANY roles that were required on the day – we really needed the whole village on the day!

Finally, congratulations to Oranga for taking out 1st place in the House points on the day!
