March 14 i.e. 3.14 was Pi-day, a day to celebrate the well-known mathematical constant Pi. Pi is the relationship between the circumference and diameter of a circle. The celebrations usually include eating lots of circular food including pies and holding Pi recitation contests. It is not too late to hold your own Pi recitation contests using the first 15 digits of Pi (3.14159265358979).
