Auckland Transport is consulting on proposed changes to some central crosstown bus services.
These proposed changes affect the OuterLink and the 650 bus services and so may be of interest to the Western Springs Stakeholder Group.
The changes include:
- increasing the frequency of the 650 to every 15 minutes, 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week and operating it later into the evening. This is the bus that travels between Western Springs, St Lukes , Epsom, Greenlane, Remuera, Meadowbank, St Johns, Glen Innes.
- altering the route of the OuterLink so it no longer travels between Newmarket and St Lukes via Mt Eden. This will make it more reliable and less prone to bunching and inconsistent gaps between buses along the section from St Lukes – Mt Albert – Pt Chevalier – Westmere – Herne Bay – City Centre.
You can read the details of the proposed changes and submit your feedback online at AT.govt.nz/haveyoursay
Feedback closes on 13 December 2019.
