He said:
“To shoot the moon, I used a 600mm telephoto lens with an equatorial mount, and took 200 photos in a row, which were then synthesised in post-production. I also took a set of overexposure images to create a halo, which made the moon look even more dreamy.
Yesterday [17th September] was the traditional Chinese festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Lunar or Moon Festival. The full moon symbolises the family reunion. This festival is a time when we get together with our family and enjoy looking at the moon“.
