Easter stars over Mt Taranaki

Check out this amazing photo snapped over the Easter break by our Year 11 International student, Yisu Wang.

In his own words, “I first went to the Mangorei Track Trailhead and then walked on the mountain road for two hours to reach Pouakai Circuit Reflective Tarn. There is a small lake there with reflections of Mount Taranaki and the stars. I took photos from nine angles in total, five from each angle. Then I imported the photos into Photoshop to do star reduction, noise reduction, color correction, and soft focus. I I really enjoyed doing this shoot but it was freezing cold!“.
