Solar panels at WSCW
At the time of writing, we have generated 61,522 kWh since our solar array was installed in January 2021, with a capacity of 50kWh on a very sunny day.
At the end of term 1, we ran a fundraiser to try and buy a new solar panel which costs $490 to purchase and install. We have collected $303.

RECYCLING TIP
Make sure your recycling is clean, this means removing any food scraps and rinsing liquids from containers to avoid contamination. If you contaminate everyone else’s recycling by not washing yours, the whole lot could end up in landfill.
- Rinse all containers. • Leave the lids on all bottles and containers. • Containers should be no larger than 4 litres. • Include paper, cardboard, milk and juice cartons e.g. Tetra Pak cartons in your recycling bin.
