French Senior café trip

The Languages Department have been able to resume their yearly French Senior café trip, which was paused during Covid.

Our Y11, Y12 and Y13 students took a bus trip to the city and arrived at La Petite Fourchette in the Wynyard Quarter to get a French lunch. They enjoyed some quiches, baguette sandwiches, croissants and pains au chocolat all ordered in French from the amazing staff at the café, before completing a scavenger hunt in French in groups. The students in the first group to complete the scavenger hunt correctly were awarded a macaron each.

It was great to see the students making a real effort practising their French speaking skills!
