Jacob Schaffer – College Sport 2024 Finalist

The Annual College Sport Auckland’s Young Sportsperson of the Year (YSPOTY) Awards Dinner was held at Eden Park on Thursday 28 November.

We’re very proud to announce that our Year 13 student, Jacob Schaffer, was nominated as a Finalist for the Boys Archery section.

Jacob has had a very successful year – achieving another NZ record for U18 and U21 over Labour weekend. Jacob also worked his way up to number 4 in the Open NZ rankings up to end of October for Barebow (which includes all age groups 16 years+, male and female).

At our WSC Sports Prize-Giving, Jacob was awarded the Most Valuable Archer prize for 2024.
