Moe mai rā/Rest in peace dear Trina

It is with much sadness that we share news of the death of our loved colleague, Trina Sellers.

Trina taught at WSCW for 17 years, primarily teaching in the Learning Centre, but in recent years she led our staff bi-cultural rōpū and took over as Director of the school Chamber Group.

On Monday 20th of November, we joined Trina’s family and friends in a memorial service filled with wonderful stories of Trina’s family, her travels, escapades and achievements.

Members of our Chamber Group played a musical tribute specially written for Trina, which reflected the true admiration they had for both her and her guidance of the group.

Our thoughts are with Trina’s family, especially Gavin, her life partner and their daughter, Elena.
