Waiōrea 2022 Prize-Givings – Ngā mihi nui

A huge thanks and congratulations to all of our Ngā Puna o Waiōrea tauira who received awards at our recent Waiōrea Prize-Givings held in our last week of school (full Waiōrea prize-giving held on Tuesday 6th December; Springs-Waiōrea Junior Prize-Giving held on Friday 9th December).

A special mention to those tauira who received major awards, including:
Geovanni Kimitaunga – WSC-NPoW Award for Outstanding Contribution in Te Reo Rangatira
Isabella Hoyle – WSC-NPoW Award for Outstanding Contribution in Te Reo Māori
Geovanni Kimitaunga & Acacia Paoo (jointly awarded) – Ach Lee Fong Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Kapa Haka
Isabella Hoyle & Acacia Paoo (jointly awarded) – Ngā Oho Award for Contribution to Ngā Puna o Waiōrea
Nikau Balme – Whaia Te Manu Mātauranga Award for Top Academic Excellence for Ngā Puna o Waiōrea (any year level)
