Official Opening – this Friday
Do note the invitation included in this Newsletter for the official opening of the new school by the Prime Minister on Friday Feb 21st at 10.00 am. We are buoyed by the huge number of responses we have receievd for this event, so do make the time to be here if you can. I promise you, it will be a very special occasion.
New Cafeteria:
Construction delays and fit-out mistakes means this much desired facility is still not ready for use…BUT it will be soon! Monday, February 24th is opening day and I know our students will be pleased to read this. I must thank the community for their understanding around this delay. I guess we all know, construction being what it is, often means delays to original schedules. Our contractors are working hard to meet this new deadline.
Athletics:
Finals, in this year’s truncated event are happening this afternoon. Congratulations (in advance) to those selected for zone events. We will return to the full day, whole school Athletics Day extravaganza that has proven so popular in previous years, in 2021.
