WSC Girls 3×3 Basketball Tournament

The 3×3 Basketball Tournament at Western Springs College was a fantastic way to encourage more girls to get involved in basketball. The four-week mini-tournament was full of energy, with the girls enjoying every game.

Team MELT (Maddie C, Emily W, Luella P, and Tara M-K) claimed victory, while Hawk Kaulima stood out as the tournament’s top scorer. The Daisy’s (Maddie H, Tessa O, Scarlett S, and Gemma D) were recognised as the Best and Fairest Team, a remarkable achievement as it was their first time playing basketball.

Overall, the event was a great success, helping the girls develop their skills and confidence as they prepare for next year’s inter-school 3×3 tournament.
