Following the PM’s announcement that vaccine passes will no longer be required (unless venues want to continue enforcing them), Ellerslie Event Centre has confirmed they will NOT be requiring a vaccine pass for our ball attendees. Year 13 and Year 12 students wanting to attend the Ball must complete this form and submit it to the Admin Office, together with payment, by 3pm Friday 20th May 2022.
A number of parents have contacted us recently about donating a little extra when purchasing a ticket to our annual Ball, with this money to go towards a charity like KidsCan or to help fund the ball ticket of a student-in-need. We have students all over Aotearoa (including at WSCW) who have to choose between ‘need’ and want’ and for them attending the Ball is a luxury they may not be able to afford. If you are able to, please consider adding $10, $20 or $50 when paying for your child and/or their partner’s ball ticket. In your Ref, please use Ball KidsCan or Ball Support. We truly appreciate such generosity from our community.
