Equestrian Update

Congratulations to the WSC Equestrian Team who competed in the Pegasus Cup Schools Show Jumping event on March 20-21^st at Takapoto Estate in Cambridge. This was the first time that that this top level equestrian venue has been used for a school competition and it did not disappoint, it was amazing.  Each school team had 4 riders who competed across different classes to earn points for their team. Every class was down to the wire with only fractions of seconds between places and amazing riding over technical and challenging (but very beautiful) courses. Our WSC equestrian team for this event was made up of Charlie Ullrich (Yr 13) with Red; Jolie Whittington (Yr 13) with Gucci; Lola Brown (Yr 12) with Meeka  and Maeve Gooder (Yr 11) with Waiwai. The team (riders and horses!) did WSC proud by placing 14^th out of 45 teams, and on individual scores Lola and Maeve placed joint 18^th out of 140 riders, fantastic results all round.
