I have worked in Education for over 18 years, first in the Primary sector and 15 years in the ECE
sector, before working for the Ministry of Education as a Senior Education Advisor for 5 years.
I now have the privilege of working for Te Kawerau Iwi Tiaki Trust as the Education Lead, working
with schools within West Auckland and the North Shore.
I have previous Governance and Childcare Board experience, as well as serving as a National Exec
Member for the Christian ECE Association, and a member if the Early Childhood Advisory Committee to
the Ministry of Education.
I have a tamāhine in year 9 at Ngā Puna o Waiōrea and another tamāhine coming to Waiōrea in 2024.
I would count it as a honour to represent Ngā Puna o Waiōrea on the Board and would use my
experience and passion for Education to advocate for the Kura.
