The Su brothers, Benaiah (Year 11) and Daequan (Year 10), both competed at both the North Island (Whanganui) and the South Island (Timaru) Colgate games over the summer holidays and came away with some very impressive results:
Benaiah / Grade 14 years old
– 4th in Discus 38.4m and Bronze medal in High Jump 166cm (Whanganui)
– 4th in Discus 39.4m it is his PB! and Bronze medal in High jump 170cm It is his PB!! (Timaru)
Daequan / Grade 13 years old
– Gold medal in 80m Hurdles time 13,00 sec and Bronze medal in Discus 33.04m. It is his PB!! (Timaru)
Also, Benaiah has been invited to join the Auckland Team for the New Zealand track and field nationals competition to be held in Wellington on 2nd to 5th March.
