Y13 English visit to Auckland Art Gallery

One of our Year 13 English classes had a wonderful visit to the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki last week.

We were guided through the exhibition “Declaration! A Pacific Feminist Agenda” and “Manpower: Myths of Masculinity” by Mosese Uhila (one of the gallery educators) and Isabel Michell (a former member of the Springs English department). It was great for the students to explore the exhibitions and select art pieces from which to draw inspiration for their writing.
