Te Ahurea Tino Rangatiratanga is a significant Māori Performing Arts event for Auckland Secondary Schools.…
Some of us are finding we have extra time at home at the moment. While cleaning out cupboards, keep an eye out for the jars in the photo below. Clean them & keep them (& lids if possible) aside to drop off at the school office when we are open again.
Like many other projects, the Cup Project is currently on hold, but as soon as things have died down and students are allowed to be safely back at school, then we shall resume the production of our Koha Cups. Our mentor, Brigitte Sistig (from Grey Lynn 2030) has done a wonderful job in finishing and assembling the cups we had started during this time.
This is amazing progress! We are very excited to continue this once quarantine is over.
Ecostore bottles
Please bring any empty ecostore bottles that you don’t plan to refill to the bin in the office / hall foyer. We are returning these to Ecostore where they turn them into new Ecostore bottles. They are made of sugarcane plastic, and Ecostore are trying really hard to take responsibility for them & recycle the containers themselves.
Clothes
Watch this space for news of our annual clotheswap, & in the meantime start a bag or two of clothes your whānau no longer wear so that they can be rehomed.
